Wedding photographer in Zurich
It was quite some time I was dreaming about shooting a destination wedding in Switzerland, but this one has been beyond my wildest dreams.
Meike and Marc got married at the Stadthaus in Zurich, which has a wonderful view of the Limmat river. Following the Munsterbrucke bridge we arrived at the Zurich Stadthaus in the morning, and after the civil wedding ceremony in the Zivilstandsamt, Marc and Meike greeted the guests with an aperitif in the Kreuzgang Fraumunster, next to the Stadthaus The aperitif was organized by Banhmi Kitchen: Vietnamese cuisine in a traveling van. In the early afternoon, we made a couple session in the most evocative points of Zurich, the Bahnofstrasse, Paradeplatz, the old historical center and the Lindenhof panoramic park, which overlooks the Limmat river.
In the afternoon, the spouses wore their official wedding clothes at the Hotel Europe in Zurich, and their thrilling first look took place in the hotel lobby.
In Zurich, people are use to travel by tram, or by bike, but I did not imagine that these crazy guys would have reached the place of reception by public transport!
The wedding reception took place at Rosso, Italian restaurant in Zurich.
Between speeches and dances, Marc and Meike celebrated all night long.
A totally unconventional wedding, ending with a wedding cake that comes out of an old freight elevator!
