When I photograph weddings and elopements in Tuscany, I am always drawn to authentic stories and meaningful moments that reveal the soul of the day. Paul and Susan chose to begin their wedding with a gesture of rare emotional depth: before the ceremony, they privately read their vows while holding hands, without seeing each other.

Their symbolic ceremony took place on the shores of Podere Vignalunga’s small lake, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature and the intense glow of the Tuscan sun. Seated beneath delicate paper parasols, their guests witnessed a romantic and heartfelt exchange of vows in an atmosphere that perfectly embodied the spirit of a country-chic wedding in Tuscany.

At sunset, the aperitivo turned into a joyful and spontaneous celebration. Dinner was served outdoors in the courtyard of the farmhouse and became one of the most emotional parts of the day. After the cake cutting, the celebration burst into full energy. Paul and Susan took over the DJ booth themselves, creating an unforgettable dance party beneath the starry Tuscan sky.
